JLL is a leading professional services firm that specializes in real estate and investment management. JLL shapes the future of real estate for a better world by using the most advanced technology to create rewarding opportunities, amazing spaces, and sustainable real estate solutions for its clients, people, and communities.
The global commercial real estate services firm has played a pivotal part in the internationalisation of Hong Kong. Its real estate expertise dates all the way back to 1783, starting with a London-based business called Jones Lang Wootton that eventually expanded across the Asia Pacific region, Europe, and North America. In 1999, that company merged with US-based LaSalle Partners to become what is now one of the largest global players in the commercial real estate industry, with revenue of US$20.9 billion and over 103,000 employees working across more than 80 countries.
The “JLL: 50 Years in Hong Kong” website was created in conjunction with several initiatives celebrating JLL’s 50th anniversary in Hong Kong. JLL engaged Dogstooth Design + Communication to design and build a special one-page site providing snapshots of JLL’s success over the years, since its establishment in 1973. With eight main sections, it helps visitors learn about and encourages colleagues to relive the developments and accomplishments that have shaped the company into the industry leader it is today. Exclusive interviews with the leadership team, stories from on-site colleagues, photographs of staff parties, charity events, and other cherished moments, all provide a colourful illustration of the company’s transformative milestones.
