
Aquila Medical, created by Dr. Stephen Chu, is a medical centre in Singapore specialising in aesthetics, minor surgery and wound care. The Aesthetics Firm by Aquila Medical’s mission is to ensure that patients are healthy on the inside and the outside, helping clients radiate with confidence. The firm has been recognised by GlobalHealth as Medical Aesthetic Clinic of the Year in the Asia Pacific for three years running.
Newly established Aquila Medical approached Dogstooth Design + Communication with the name ‘Aquila’, the Latin word for eagle. A striking visual representation of the brand was needed for signage in its new clinic, business cards and corporate stationery, uniforms, and more.
The bold geometric logo design is an abstract representation of eagles’ wings in flight. It aims to evoke beauty through its symmetry and precision through its mathematical accuracy – two elements that are fundamental to aesthetic surgery. The curved lines are arranged such that there is a sense of motion, conveying change or transformation – something that every client of Aquila Medical will hope to experience.
To provide information about their services and to take bookings, Aquila Medical required a user-friendly, multi-lingual, responsive, and beautiful website. Dogstooth Design + Communication built a flexible solution with a clean design using WordPress to help the new brand take flight.
